As a member of parliament, Dr. Elmossalli served on several national committees. She is a regionally renowned expert on family and development issues and numerous Arab and regional organizations turn to her for consultations on such complex social issues. In addition to her role in the executive branch of government, Dr. Elmossalli is a visiting professor at the faculty of legal and economic sciences in Mohammed V University in Rabat.
Dr. Elmossalli is also the author of two books focusing on the role of women in society and public life in Morocco and she has published numerous reports and research papers addressing the same subject.
She holds a PhD in literature from Mohammed the First University as well as a number of post graduate qualifications in history, literature, and law.
