As of June 2023, H.E. Matar Saeed AlHemeiri has been appointed as Chief Executive of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment, part of Digital Dubai, the government entity entrusted with Dubai’s city-wide digital transformation.
With over 20 years of experience in serving the government, AlHemeiri has played a vital role in leading teams and supervising strategies towards achieving impactful projects in digitizing government services and city experiences.
Prior to his current role, AlHemeiri was the Assistant CEO of the Smart Dubai Government Establishment overseeing all aspects of the Shared Government Services at the entity, the digital infrastructure for the city services, Government Shared Data Centers and other digital products and services.
AlHemeiri graduated from the American University of Sharjah in 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business from the University of Wollongong Dubai.
