Hind Ahmed Almutawa is CIO Innovation at Ministry of Energy and focuses on the Energy Productivity & Demand Side management as a vital part of the whole energy and water system. Hind is also in charge of the inception of the Innovation Program in the ministry and currently leads the Innovation team through a paradigm shift towards radical innovations with forward-thinking approach.
Previously, Hind was Director of Projects Department at Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority focused on Power transmission & Distribution projects. Before that, she was Project manager of the Load dispatch Centre SCADA project as well as acting Head of Electrical maintenance Section in a power generation plant. She started her career as an engineer at Local Maintenance Center (Etisalat).
Hind holds an MSc in Engineering System Management and a BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from The American University of Sharjah.
