Joanna Benn specialises in communicating and campaigning on international environmental issues. She currently works as the Director Comms for The Nature Conservancy alongside her role as Editor-In-Chief for Nature4climate – an initiative which brings together 13 partners that aim to increase investment and action on natural climate solutions in support of the 2015 Paris climate agreement.
Having lived and worked in six countries including the UK, Switzerland, Italy, Kenya, the USA and Belgium, Joanna considers herself very much a ‘global citizen’. She began her career as a broadcast journalist and has since worked for various non-governmental organisations and led projects and communications for think tanks and the United Nations Environment Programme, as well as for international news networks, foundations and print outlets.
