Director of Government Partnerships for EMEA, Coursera
Kareem Soufi serves as the Director of Government Partnerships for EMEA at Coursera. In this role, he collaborates closely with governments across the region to develop innovative national upskilling programs to future-proof the workforce and drive economic growth.
Previously, he served as the Regional Director for EMEA at Education First (EF), where he directed large-scale educational programs impacting thousands of learners across various geographies. Prior to EF, he began his career at Bayt.com, where he helped major businesses and government entities match talent with thousands of job opportunities.
Kareem has been recognized by the World Economic Forum and he has founded and co-founded several social initiatives and has been an active member of numerous committees and working groups focused on education and the job market.
Kareem holds an MSc in Major Program Management from the University of Oxford, with a dissertation focused on the application of Systems Thinking in leading national Human Capital Development programs.
