Maya holds a BSc degree and an MBA in Business Management from The Lebanese American University. She is considered an integral team member in the United Nations System. In her 14 years at UNDP, she supported project implementation, handled office management, and organized activities in the field.
Maya currently serves as Project Management Specialist with UNDP's Regional Programme Division and manages the Arab Region Youth Arts and Music Initiative, which aims to place art and music at its core, as powerful tools to communicate messages and engage with people and communities.
Her areas of expertise are project management, resource management, operations, procurement, finance and human resources.
