Maya Hojeij is the Senior News Presenter and Chief Editor at Dubai TV. She has over two decades of media and communications experience working with international news channels including Al Arabiya TV, and has participated in global events and forums that support the local business segment in the Middle East, from the World Government Summit to the Women in Leadership Forum.
Maya has carried out extensive media training for high-profile spokespeople in various industries and has educated students in Media and Journalism at the American University of Dubai.
She invests her time in mentoring and empowering women and has participated in several high-level events focusing on youth, women and entrepreneurship. She presented a TedxTalk titled “Does Our Profession Define Who We Are?”, and her podcast "Rakwet Ahweh" has become a platform that inspires youth with stories from, and of, successful women.
