Melanie El Set holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the American University of Sharjah, where she received the Outstanding Student Scholarship. Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, she brings strong cross-cultural communication skills and a keen understanding of global affairs.
Melanie worked as a Research Intern with UNDP’s Regional Bureau for Arab States, supporting the Knowledge Project through research and data collection to advance the Global Knowledge Index and the Sustainable Development Goals.
With experience at the French Embassy and participation in international academic activities, conferences, and collaborative events, she has developed a strong interest in diplomacy, policy analysis, and global cooperation.
