Mohammed Abdulhamid Al Hosani is a seasoned leader in national programs and community strategy, recognized for promoting a culture of volunteering and activating initiatives at a nationwide scale. He currently serves as Director of Leadership & Empowerment at Emirates Foundation, overseeing programs that strengthen volunteering and community engagement across the UAE.
Key initiatives under his leadership include the Takatof Volunteering Program, the SANID National Emergency Response Volunteer Program, and the UAE Volunteer Platform, launched to unify and coordinate volunteer efforts professionally. He has also guided volunteer responses during the COVID-19 pandemic and supported major national events, including Expo Dubai, Expo Milan, and the Special Olympics.
Mohammed Al Hosani has played a pivotal role in developing the UAE National Volunteering Strategy, establishing regulatory and legislative frameworks to create a sustainable volunteering ecosystem. Since joining Emirates Foundation in 2013, he has shaped policies, designed strategic initiatives, and managed national programs aligned with the UAE’s vision of community participation and sustainable development.
