Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali is the Executive Director of the Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau, responsible for supervising the preparation and execution of Expo 2020 projects and coordinating with different governmental authorities to ensure its success.
Previously, he held several senior positions including Executive Director of Strategy Department at Emirates Competitiveness Council, Director of Strategy and Policy in the UAE Prime Minister's office, and Director of Special Projects in the Executive Council of Dubai. His career abounds with achievements and successes, including his contribution to the UAE Federal Strategy and Competitiveness Strategy, the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, UAE vision 2021, and the development of Dubai’s green building policies.
He holds an MSc in Technology Innovation Management, and a B.S. in Engineering of Telecommunication Systems. He has academic publications on many topics, including carbon emission reduction, sustainable buildings, renewable energy, and information technology in the Arab world.
