Najwa Ali Attiga is a seasoned senior U.S.-qualified attorney based in Abu Dhabi. She is an international corporate attorney whose principal areas of practice are Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investment Funds, Private Equity, and Dispute Resolution.
Educated in America, Ms. Attiga brings multinational and multifaceted academic and business experience. She personally founded and managed multiple legal departments and teams over the past twenty-five years in the USA, MENA and the GCC regions.
She currently holds the position of Senior Advisor in the Executive Office of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
Additionally, Ms. Attiga is the Founder of the Arab Women Lawyers Group Middle East, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting women in the legal profession in the Middle East. Ms. Attiga earned her Master of Laws Degree from Columbia University in New York City. She was selected to the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Middle East in 2019, and was also named as one of the most influential women in the Arab World in 2020 and 2021.
