Dr. Tamer Mohamed is an accomplished academic and professional leader with over 20 years of experience across higher education, research, and industry. He currently serves as Chair of the Department of Computer Engineering and Computational Sciences at Canadian University Dubai, leading programs in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Cybersecurity while integrating data analytics, visualization, and intelligent systems into teaching, research, and institutional strategy. 

Before entering academia, Dr. Mohamed was Project and Program Manager at Hewlett-Packard (HP), managing large-scale technology projects, optimizing data workflows, and leading enterprise teams across multiple countries. His expertise spans software analytics, AI, information retrieval, and data-driven decision systems, underpinned by strong project and program management skills. 

Dr. Mohamed has published extensively in top-tier journals and IEEE conferences, addressing intelligent systems, machine learning, and cybersecurity analytics. He holds leadership roles in IEEE and PMI, reflecting his commitment to bridging academia, industry, and policy.
