Regional Manager, Arab States, United Nations Volunteers (UNV)
Olga Zubritskaya-Devyatkina was appointed UNV Regional Manager for the Arab States, assuming her post on 1 September 2023. She has held multiple leadership roles with UNV/UNDP, including Chief of the Volunteer Solutions Section, Team Leader of the Volunteer Service Center, Deputy Chief of the Results Management Support Section, Regional Manager for West and Central Africa, and Portfolio Manager for Europe and the CIS.
Earlier, Olga served with UNOPS (2007–2010) as Portfolio Manager for mine action, supporting DPKO and UNDP operations in Sudan, the DRC, Chad, Ethiopia and Eritrea, and Western Sahara. She previously worked with DPKO’s Mine Action Service (2005–2007) and the UN Department of Public Information (2002–2005). Before the UN, she worked in motion picture production (1987–2000).
Olga holds a BA in Economics (Plekhanov Russian University) and an MA in Management with a focus on Leadership and Knowledge Management (New York University). She is married with two children and holds Russian and U.S. nationality.
