Pedro Moura is Strategic Partnerships Director at Coursera, where he leads international collaborations with universities and government institutions to bridge the gap between education and employability. He oversees large-scale university and workforce development initiatives, drawing on nearly two decades of experience across the publishing and education sectors in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
Before joining Coursera, Pedro spent more than twelve years in the publishing industry, playing a key role in leading Macmillan Education’s international digital division. Reporting directly to the CEO and CPO, he managed a geographically dispersed team and contributed to major digital transformation efforts. A recipient of a Turing Scheme award, he has participated in research projects sponsored by the University of London, the Museo delle Civiltà, and the British School at Rome.
Pedro holds two master’s degrees from the University of London and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Warburg Institute. He began his career as a teacher at Cultura Inglesa in Latin America, where he also obtained his CELTA qualification.
