Knowledge and Public Policy Specialist, American University of Beirut (AUB)
Raghda Kawass is the Knowledge and Public Policy Specialist at the Business Practice and Policy Initiative at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business, American University of Beirut (AUB). She brings extensive experience in shaping public policy and strategy through her work with leading international organizations, including UNESCO, the British Council, and UNEP.
She has led and contributed to major initiatives in education policy, public sector reform, and sustainable development across the MENA region. At OSB, her work focuses on translating academic research into actionable policy to enhance public and private decision-making. She has developed policy recommendations adopted by national and regional stakeholders, advanced progress toward SDG 4, and supported education reform in Lebanon, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.
Raghda holds a Master’s in Education and International Development from University College London (UCL). She is recognized for her expertise in policy design and strategic implementation, rooted in evidence-based and inclusive frameworks.
