Vice President and Head of MENA Region, International WELL Building Institute
Tekha Selim brings over a decade of expertise as an international leader in the intersection of health and the built environment. At International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), he is Vice President and Head of MENA Region. Tekha introduced the Healthy Building movement in the MENA region in 2019, playing an instrumental role in enrolling over 500,000,000 sqft. of projects in various WELL programs across the region with some of the most prestigious organizations and entities.
Prior to joining IWBI, Tekha founded the internationally known Tekha Group organization, which promotes healthy lifestyles by bridging cultural gaps through different programs. Through the group, he presented more than 170 speeches to hundreds of thousands of people all over the world, and he has been a part of more than 130 major events globally.
Tekha has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a master’s degree in Media Studies. He also has worked as a college instructor in the USA and played basketball on the Egyptian National Team and American college basketball (NCAA).
