Within the last 20 years of his professional experience, he concentrated on the management of large international projects related to: growth through export, innovation, sustainability, new technologies, business environment, labor market, and access to finance.
Laurent has over 15 years of experience in assisting governments and the European Commission to frame a more supportive research, education, economic, export, finance, and innovation framework to support sustainable growth in the European market and export markets and competitiveness for the new emerging activities: digital activities (artificial intelligence, 5G, cybersecurity), Industry 4.0, new energy technologies, and green technologies.
He successfully led many EU projects, such as the SME Performance Review project over several years, the BlueInvest platform, the EU Gateway to Asia, and many strategic European and national projects.
