About Knowledge Summit

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are organizing the 11^th edition of the Knowledge Summit on 17–18 November 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the theme: “Knowledge: Navigating Crises in a Changing World.”

In an era defined by economic disruptions, technological acceleration, and societal transformation, the Knowledge Summit 2026 comes to underscore knowledge’s role as the most critical infrastructure for resilience, recovery, and future preparedness. The Summit also serves as a global platform that brings together elite decision-makers, experts, academia, and innovators to share their insights and explore practical solutions to current and future challenges.

This year’s edition highlights the experience of the UAE and Dubai as a leading global model in utilizing knowledge and innovation to anticipate challenges and transform them into development opportunities, through the adoption of agile policies and future-focused visions that support sustainable development and enhance societal preparedness.

The Summit will also feature the announcement of the Global Knowledge Index (GKI) 2026, and the winners of the 9^th edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award (MBRKA) will be announced during the event. MBRKA recognizes distinguished individuals and initiatives that contribute to developing innovative solutions and creating a sustainable positive impact on societies.
