Dubai, 9 April 2026: His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), met with His Excellency Mohamed AlMulla, CEO of Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), in the presence of various officials and representatives from both sides. During an official visit to DMI’s headquarters, the meeting explored opportunities to enhance collaboration across knowledge and professional development domains, create effective communication channels, and exchange expertise, while leveraging local and international best practices in support of various sectors.

The meeting shed light on MBRF’s visionary initiatives, such as the Future Skills Academy, which aims to elevate the Arab digital landscape by providing youth and professionals with the requisite skills needed to keep pace with evolving labor market demands. This is facilitated through advanced educational programs and training experiences designed in line with latest global standards, as part of this international knowledge project, implemented in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The discussion also covered the Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), which seeks to support the intellectual and knowledge movement in the UAE and the wider region by preparing a new generation of writers and creatives who can produce distinguished literary and knowledge content.

Additionally, the meeting discussed the achievements of the Knowledge Summit and the Youth Knowledge Forum (YKF), while highlighting the role of the Digital Knowledge Hub (DKH) as an open-access Arab platform and the largest of its kind, offering diverse knowledge content, including books, studies, articles, and manuscripts, along with audio-visual materials. These play a major role in the global dissemination of Arabic language content.

The meeting further explored the KnowTalks initiative, which convenes leading experts, thinkers, and decision-makers through interactive sessions addressing key developmental and intellectual issues, fostering exchange of insights, and shaping the future of the regional knowledge landscape.

At the end of the meeting, MBRF presented DMI with a selection of books from its My Family is Reading initiative, along with several of its publications across various fields.
