HH Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed emphasizes importance of strategic partnership between MBRF and UNDP

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and member of Dubai Council, highlighted the significance of the strategic partnership between the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Additionally, Her Highness also commended the positive outcomes of the ties between both entities in the past 15 years and their contribution towards fostering sustainable development and knowledge capacities in the UAE and wider region as part of the global commitment to attaining the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development goals.

Posting on the ‘X’ platform, Her Highness said, “We greatly value our 15-year strategic partnership with the UNDP in our shared commitment to generosity and knowledge. This collaboration is the result of the dedicated efforts of the MBRF, which was honored on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Meetings in New York. We look forward to more success in locally and globally advancing knowledge through this remarkable partnership.”

In addition, Her Highness explained that the collaboration between both parties signifies the UAE’s vision of offering individuals the knowledge and skills essential for the future. She also highlighted the collaborative efforts between the MBRF and the UNDP in developing educational and research capabilities and conveying knowledge to future generations.
