MBRF hosts delegation from RAK Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security to strengthen cooperation in research and knowledge

17 May 2023- The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) hosted a delegation from the Ras Al Khaimah Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security. The meeting allowed both entities to discuss several key topics of shared interest, along with ways to strengthen relations and enhance their cooperation in the knowledge sector.

HE Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the MBRF, welcomed the delegation and praised the Authority's willingness to develop relations with the MBRF, particularly in the areas of research and innovation. The discussion included ways to empower and equip the youth to meet the challenges of the future, as well as the implementation of shared initiatives to accomplish the knowledge connection. Additionally, the meeting included an introduction to MBRF's initiatives in the knowledge sector, as well as other joint initiatives between the two parties to ensure progress in the field.

HE Jamal bin Huwaireb said, “At the MBRF, we are committed to strengthening and expanding collaboration in the field of knowledge with various prominent entities in the UAE. Our most recent meeting with the Ras Al Khaimah Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security was in line with our ongoing efforts to raise knowledge awareness and encourage the public and private sectors to explore possibilities for cooperation and mutual work to elevate the field of knowledge and research.”

The MBRF is seeking to support knowledge development in the country, in accordance with the UAE’s social development goals, by launching numerous knowledge initiatives and projects that can help advance the sector forward. In addition to supporting knowledge foundations, publications, and other translation services, the MBRF is working to empower the next generation by establishing strategic partnerships and initiatives and equipping them with the tools necessary to devise sustainable solutions that can accelerate the growth of knowledge and research fields.
