Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation honored by DET’s Al Safeer Program for attracting international events to Dubai

Dubai, 4 March 2025: As part of the Al Safeer Congress Ambassador Program, which aims to attract new events to Dubai, the Dubai Business Events Office, of the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), honored the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) for its efforts in bringing the 3rd UNESCO World Open Educational Resources (OER) Congress to the city. Organized by UNESCO in collaboration with MBRF, the congress was held alongside the 9th Knowledge Summit in November 2024. This marked the first time the event took place in the Arab region, under the theme “Digital Public Goods: Open Solutions and AI for Inclusive Access to Knowledge.”

Saif Al Mansoori, Corporate Affairs Advisor to CEO, received the honor during the annual ceremony recently held in Dubai.
