For the second year in a row, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) has brought the Nobel Museum Exhibition to Dubai. While last year’s Nobel Museum exhibition in Dubai, titled “The Nobel Prize: Ideas Changing the World”, was a holistic overview of the Nobel Prize itself, this year sees a more focused approach on the history of the Nobel Prize in medicine, the different discoveries and inventions related to medicine and interesting aspects from the lives of the laureates that are most likely to spark an interest among young medical researchers and students.
The month-long Nobel Museum Exhibition in Dubai this year, which opened on February 21, at the Children’s City in Dubai Creek Park, highlights Alfred Nobel’s vision in establishing the Nobel Prize, his interest in medicine, and also focuses on the contributions of Nobel Prize winners in specifi c areas, including the treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cancer and thalassemia
