  • 24 Jan 2023

January 24, 2023- His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), and Dr. Hassan El-Bilawi, Secretary General of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD), explored the potential of developing bilateral collaboration in the areas of mutual interest, during a delegation’s visit to ADCC’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

Bin Huwaireb said: “Initiating collaboration with ADCC comes with great importance, especially in the areas of knowledge and childhood; on the level of education, research, workshops, and forums; within the aspects of reading and digital illiteracy; and the objectives of sustainable development and climate change. Through this alliance, we aim to offer the ACCD publications through the MBRF’s digital platform, which is one of the leading platforms for knowledge sharing and development of online Arabic content.”

During the visit, he gave copies of MBRF’s knowledge products, including stories and children’s books, to the ACCD. The knowledge products are a testament to the MBRF’s commitment to promoting the growth of the knowledge movement and publishing meaningful content in the Arab region.

Dr. Hassan El-Bilawi commented on the MBRF’s relentless efforts and its exceptional knowledge achievements as well as the contributions made by the UAE to the world, in accordance with the vision to create and publish knowledge content in all fields. In addition, he expressed his pleasure in the effective collaboration between the two parties in the area of childhood. He also highlighted that the meeting is in line with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the MBRF on September 28, 2022, to encourage and improve strategic partnerships and unify the development of knowledge and cultural efforts.

The visit of the MBRF’s delegates to Egypt, during its participation at the Cairo International Book Fair 2023, also included meetings with key ministers, senior officials, and renowned personalities, along with officials of various institutions, to explore the prospects of collaboration.
