MBRF honored during United Arab Emirates University Strategic Partners Forum
23 May 2024- The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) was honored by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) during the Strategic Partners Forum held in Dubai. This recognition comes in light of the MBRF’s constant efforts to spread knowledge, support its development, and contribute to enhancing education and innovation in higher education and scientific research.
During an open speech at the Forum, His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to His Highness the President of the UAE and Chancellor of the UAEU, highlighted the necessity of strategic collaborations to elevate the quality of education and scientific research in the country. Furthermore, he underscored the significance of fostering collaborative efforts between educational and knowledge organizations to ensure leadership, excellence, and innovative solutions to address the challenges confronted by society.
In addition, H.E. Nusseibeh expressed his appreciation for the Foundation’s intellectual contributions and impact, emphasizing its steadfast commitment to enhancing the quality of education and scientific research in the country. He also praised the MBRF’s meticulous efforts in ensuring excellence and nurturing innovation in higher education while catering to the requirements of both local and global scientific and knowledge communities. During the speech, His Excellency shed light on their leading knowledge initiatives that accelerated the UAE’s development of knowledge and science. He also emphasized UAEU’s commitment to reinforcing its strategic collaboration with the MBRF while continuing to reflect the wise leadership’s vision of strengthening the UAE’s position as a global hub of science and knowledge.
The Forum witnessed extensive participation of representatives from various local ministries, organizations, and government and private institutions. Discussions during the event covered key topics, including the challenges and opportunities of the future labor market, the impact of technology, and the significance of developing the necessary skills to support economic growth and innovation.
