Dubai, UAE - 11 December 2025: The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) launched the 13th edition of the ‘Bil Arabi’ initiative, featuring a wide lineup of community and entertainment activities designed to foster the use of the Arabic language and strengthen its role in everyday life. This year’s edition features an extensive range of programs, which are hosted across nine shopping malls throughout the UAE, along with several parallel events in Bahrain and Kuwait.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) concluded the 12th edition of the ‘Bil Arabi’ initiative, which is one of MBRF’s key knowledge initiatives for promoting the use of the Arabic language in daily life and across digital channels, especially among the youth.

Dubai, UAE, 26 September 2022 – The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) organized a virtual panel discussion titled ‘Linguistic Identity in a Changing World’, which was held under the ‘Bil Arabi’ initiative launched by the MBRF. The initiative aims at strengthening the position of Arabic language and motivating Arabs to communicate in the mother tongue on online platforms. It has been implemented to develop the knowledge role of Arabic in the Arabic community and in the international community as well.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 09, 2022- The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) held an online panel discussion titled ‘The Arabic Language and Virtual Space’ under the ‘Bil Arabi’ initiative, implemented by the MBRF to encourage the Arab population on using their mother tongue on digital platforms. It seeks to increase the prevalence of the Arabic language on the internet and social media and help the development of the cognitive role of the language in the Arabic world in particular and the international community in general.
بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للغة العربية، وضمن فعاليات مبادرة بالعربي نظَّمت مؤسَّسة محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم للمعرفة ندوة نقاشية افتراضية بعنوان «صعوبات تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها» شارك فيها كلٌّ من سعادة جمال بن حويرب، المدير التنفيذي لمؤسَّسة محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم للمعرفة، والدكتور فاروق أبوشقرا، مؤلِّف كتاب «قواعد اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها» وأدارها الشاعر والإعلامي حسين درويش، وتابعها مئات الأشخاص من المهتمّين.
