Dubai, August 29 - 2025: The Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), a key initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), hosted the third edition of the ‘Illustrations for Children's Stories’ workshop at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library. Under the guidance of illustrator Fatima Al-Amri, the workshop brought together enthusiastic young artists eager to refine their abilities in children's book illustration.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 2 June 2025 - The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) launched a training workshop titled ‘Book Criticism Workshop,’ which will be held in Jordan under the Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), one of MBRF’s flagship initiatives. The workshop aligns with DIPW’s objective to nurture Arab talents, refine their skills, and prepare them to actively develop and disseminate knowledge.
31 January 2025- The Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), a leading initiative by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), launched two groundbreaking workshops titled ‘Scientific Translation’ and ‘Scientific Article’ during its participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, held from 23 January to 5 February 2025.
Dubai 6 January 2025- As part of the outputs of the Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), an initiative undertaken by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), a new collection of scientific books has been published by the program in Arabic. The books were prepared by Macao Group Publishing’s scientific team and were later translated into Arabic under the supervision of Dr. Ghanim Al Samarrai.

Dubai, UAE, 26 September 2024: The Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), one of the most prominent knowledge initiatives of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), launched the first phase of the ‘Writing Children's Stories’ workshop at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, with the participation of 16 creative writers. Delivered by trainer Nadia Al Najjar, the workshop lasts for three months and focuses on the development of children’s literature, further empowering young writers and new talents by providing them with the necessary tools to transform their ideas into inspiring literary works for future generations.
19 August 2024- The Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), one of the most remarkable knowledge projects of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), launched the ‘Novel Writing Workshop’ in Jordan, which will last for four months. Instructed by Dr. Shahla Ujayli, an author and lecturer specializing in Arabic literature, the workshop will take place at the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) in Amman.

14 May 2024- The Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), a leading initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), launched the “Workshop on Creating Illustrations for Children’s Stories” during the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF). This workshop reflects DIPW’s commitment to enhancing the literary ecosystem and fostering young artists and talents by providing them with the requisite skills to enrich their experiences in literary pursuits.
08 November 2022 - The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) held various knowledge activities as part of its Dubai International Program for Writing initiative and ‘Knowledge Lounge’ projects, at the 41st edition of Sharjah International Book Fair 2022. The book fair is being organized by the Sharjah Book Authority under the theme ‘Spread the Word’, from November 2 to 13, 2022, at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
4 November 2022 – The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) launched a new website for its Dubai International Program for Writing, during its first day of participation at the Sharjah International Book Fair 2022. The Dubai International Program for Writing is an innovative strategy that enriches the UAE's intellectual and literary movement and through which its participants present numerous important works of literature.
04 November 2022 – The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) is participating in the 41st edition of Sharjah International Book Fair 2022, which is being held from November 2 to 13, 2022, at Expo Centre Sharjah, under the theme ‘Spread the Word’. The participation is in line with its mission to encourage intellectual and knowledge exchange as well as interactions across cultures.
September 21 2022 – The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) opened the registrations for ‘Travel Writings’ and ‘Scientific Translation’ workshops, marking the completion of the first phase of a series of workshops that have been launched under the Dubai International Program for Writing.
